During the course you will learn the basic kayaking strokes, techniques and how to kayak safely. Qualified instructors and club members will assist you to get Level 2 Kayak Skills Award. This Proficiency Award is a first step in joining our club.
All safety and kayak equipment is provided.
Course participant must be over the age of 12.
For the course dates in May, June, July or August ask through our contacts. Course time is from 6.30pm untill 9pm.

Club membership runs from 1st of April each year and anyone who holds a minimum of Level 2 Proficiency Award can become a member.

You can try out all club equipment, gear and boats- river, creek and sea kayaks, Canadian canoes, racing and play boats.
You do not need to buy any gear. Just turn up, choose a boat, waterproof cag, spray desk, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aid and go paddling!
